Great service and excellent job from Loftplan team for converting our loft to fantastic bedroom!

Loftplan has been excellent throughout the entire building processing; Good communication from office manager (Nicola), on site supervisor (Warren) and
friendly and skilled builders (Martin, Mike, Jad etc).

For anyone are looking for a loft conversion company, I highly recommend Loftplan for good quality and keep on budget.

Loftplan did an excellent job from start to finish. We were looking for a company that would take the stress away from us and project manage everything for us. We wanted to create an office and walking wardrobe storage space.

From the initial consultation to architecture meetings and building regulations, this was handled by them. They even took the pain away from us regarding skip hire.

All the teams that were involved put in a hard days work and were polite and courteous throughout. They even gave good advice for extra space. This went down as a treat, and we have ended up with exactly what we were after. They cleaned up as they went.

I have no hesitation in recommending them. Special thanks go to Nicola (the office manager), she handled everything for us and kept us up to date. Bob (Senior Work Supervisor) popped in regularly with his 40 years plus experience, but rarely had to instruct the team as they had done a great job. Dean/Ritchie/Brendon/John/Mike/Alan etc everyone were a credit to the company.

We initially contacted Loftplan in April of this year and by early June they were on sight and had started. They finished in September and we couldn’t be happier with our loft conversion. Jim and Brad were the first team on site and did a fantastic job of building the dormer frame at the back of the house. It was amazing how quickly they worked to get the frame up, and the new flat roof on, making sure it was very quickly watertight.

We then worked with our project manager Bob to decide exactly how we wanted the space divided. It was really great to do this once we were actually stood in the space, as before we found it hard to visualise. This way of working allowed us the freedom to adapt the initial plans, enabling us to divide the space into two bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom.

All the different teams, doing the various stages of work were, polite, friendly and clearly very knowledgeable in their craft. Shaun was our end carpenter and he did a particularly good job of our oak banisters from the ground floor, all the way to the loft.

The way you pay for the work is good too. Each area of work is divided up, so you pay different amounts for different stages of the project. It meant that at each stage, we could see where our money was going, and never felt we had paid ahead too far and not had anything to show for it.

Once we moved in to the new space and started using it, we spotted a couple of small snagging things and Loftplan were quick to return and rectify those for us. We’ve ended up with exactly the space we wanted and would recommend Loftplan if you are looking to have a loft conversion.

We chose Loft Plan for our loft conversion because they offered a complete start-to-finish service, covering everything from design through to the finishing touches, which allowed us to avoid the hassle of coordinating multiple contractors. We only needed to arrange a tiler for the bathroom and supply our chosen bathroom fittings, as Loft Plan handled all other aspects.

Throughout the project, all the tradesmen from Loft Plan were polite and professional, from the initial scaffolders to the carpenter handling the final details. We experienced minimal disruption to our daily life and were able to continue living in the house while work was underway. The structural work was accessed from the scaffolding initially, with only minimal intrusion into our living space when it was time to install the stairs. Even after the work moved into the house, we managed to maintain our normal routine with little disturbance.

Having Bob, our dedicated project supervisor, made the process much easier. He was responsive to our design choices, and the team worked hard to bring our vision to life.

Overall, I would recommend Loft Plan for anyone considering a loft conversion, especially if you want to continue living in your home during the project and prefer not to manage the project yourself.
