“Exceptional Loft Conversion Experience”

We recently had our loft converted into a master bedroom with a pitched roof dormer and en-suite bathroom by Loftplan, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.

Our decision to choose Loftplan was influenced by a recommendation from a neighbour and the company’s impressive 30-year track record in loft conversions.

From the outset, the design process was clear and collaborative. The planning application was handled efficiently, and the first fix team (Chris & Elliott) were personable, skillful and worked very hard throughout the first phase of the build.

Throughout the project, our dedicated project supervisor (Warren) kept us informed and was always available to address any questions or concerns. His presence on-site ensured that the project progressed seamlessly from start to finish.

Converting a loft involves coordination among various trades, and the whole Loftplan team made the entire process straightforward. What stood out most was their unwavering attention to detail, professionalism, and consistent communication. We are absolutely delighted with our new space and would not hesitate to recommend Loftplan to anyone considering a loft conversion.

The Best Use of Loft Space

Loftplan came to us recommended by multiple people in our local area. Alan came to visit, review our requirements and come up with a plan to make the best use of space. It’s fair to say we certainly couldn’t have maximized our space any more, and at a reasonable price. With plans submitted and approved things moved apace without delay.

John and Chris did the vast majority of the structural work and were a pleasure to deal with, happy to take my many questions. One of my main concerns had been leaks in the roof during construction but despite autumn weather we had zero leaks. Work progressed quickly, considering about 80% of our roof was changed and dormers built in about 8 weeks. Stairs and second fix all went well. We did have issues with our water tank arrangements which necessitated some changes to our original layout plan but these were solved promptly.

Throughout the process Bob was always available to take questions and was always responsive. Incredibly happy with the final result, we’ve managed to add 2 bedrooms, a shower room and an office in a previously dead space. I should add as well that the workmanship has been excellent. Over the course of the build we probably encountered 12 or so different tradespeople from Loftplan and all were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Our Second Loftplan Loft Conversion

8 years ago we took the plunge and asked Loftplan to convert our loft into a double bedroom with ensuite. They did an amazing job and we loved it so much that we recently employed them again to add another room to the other side of the roof. Loftplan are professional, efficient and great value. All of their staff and contractors are polite, hard working and incredibly good at what they do. I will use them again if I ever need another loft conversion.
