Loftplan were fantastic from start to finish.

It was so calm and enjoyable watching the changes being made everyday.

Dean and Dave were a pleasure to have around the house and were so respectful of our house and family.

Bob and Kevin made sure that we were kept up to date with every step and nothing was too much trouble.

Shawn and Alan the plumber and carpenter were experts in their craft and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.

And finally Nicola was always on hand to help us with any queries we had along the way.

I would definitely recommend Loftplan to everyone.

We started work on our loft conversion in August 2021. We had an unexpected need for planning permission which no one had anticipated but this was handled quickly and efficiently by the Loftplan office.

Luke and John were our initial team and they made a great start to the job, keeping us informed along the way.

We hit a few queues once we were waiting on the stairs and plastering but all of these jobs were done to a great standard.

We were impressed by all of the team who came to work on our job – Reggie the plumber, Ron and his electrical team, the plasterers, scaffolders, amongst others were all polite, professional and respectful of our property.

We are really enjoying our new space now in the loft and are so happy that we decided to go ahead with this project.

After getting several different quotes we decided to go with Loftplan.

As soon as the paperwork was signed, and a date was given for the work to commence we knew we made the right decision!! From our first visit with Nic, we felt very safe with what was going to happen to our house.

The scaffold team were very professional and polite and explained how this was be constructed, also allowing access to house and driveway for a very busy family of 6! Very understanding of us needing to use our bi-fold doors at the back of the property and erected the scaffold around our requests with no hesitation.

The first fix started with Dan and Bill, the communication, guidance, and professionalism were second to none! All steps advised. I was very heavily pregnant at the time but still knew exactly what was happening during the first fix. I even got some pictures taken of the loft because I was unable to see. They worked consistently hard in all weather conditions.

The communication from the supervisors Bob and Kev was great, always kept in the loop of everything happening. Any questions we had they were answered straight away and made sure anything needing doing that we always had the right man for the job!

The second fix started with plastering – the guys are amazing at what they do, the finish is outstanding. Dave the carpenter is top quality, you didn’t even have to ask of how you wanted the finishing touches to look, he already had them in mind. We were amazed at the workmanship.

The plumbers had a complicated job with our ensuite Aqualisa shower, the tight swing into our small ensuite everything was measured to the tiniest mm to make sure there were no collides with other areas. Again, always advised with every step.

Nicola in the office is very approachable and communicated with us every step of the way from start to finish.

Loftplan have top quality hard working professional trades!

Would I recommend Loftplan?
Absolutely without no hesitation! I cannot pick one fault with this company.

We now have life in our loft!!

In our experience, good builders communicate well, rectify problems when they occur, come up with creative solutions when needed and most importantly, finish the job by seeing to the snags.

We found Loftplan to be extremely good at all these things and although the job took a long time to complete – a fault of world circumstances more than any fault of Loftplan’s – we were extremely pleased with the result which was, at the end of the day, what we cared about most.

We also really enjoyed working with Loftplan because they had pride in their work and wanted it to be good – this takes so much stress out of a build because you don’t have to be on anyone’s back chasing people to get things right.  They are doing that for you.

We had a couple of hiccups during our build that meant work had to be undone to get it right.  In previous builds, our builders have refused to unpick their work and we have had to live with it.  This time, Bob saw the problem even before we did and got the guys to re-do some work that set them back around 4 days.  This experience meant that when we spotted another problem, I didn’t have to sit up worrying all night because I knew it would be sorted out immediately.

During building projects however much you plan, problems can and do occur and for us, the way these problems are handled is the difference between having a good or bad experience.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Loftplan and if i could, I would use them for every building project we do in the future.

I would especially like to mention Ben whose cheerful manner and hard work set us off to such a good start with the company.  We were very sad when he left for another job!

Many thanks to everyone else too – everyone on site was a pleasure to have around.

As for our loft, it has definitely changed our lives already.
