The quality of their work was excellent, their customer service faultless and ultimately their clever design maximised the added value to our property. Unlike many homes in our estate with loft conversions, we did not have to reduce or lose our small bedroom to make room for the staircase, meaning we gained an additional bedroom. Right from the outset, they stood out to me as a highly professional and slick operation compared to so many other building firms – and I spoke to a lot! The price was fixed for the job, there was no hidden costs or surprises later on. The specification was very clear so we knew exactly what we were paying for, giving us peace of mind. Additional costs were agreed upfront if we asked for extras like the bedside lamps fitted into the walls.

In the early stages of the build I raised a concern about the ceiling height and the supervisor responded immediately with the building inspector and agreeing alterations that gave us a couple more inches of head height. This turned out to be crucial as we could then get fitted wardrobes from Wren we wouldn’t have been able to with the lower height.

Loftplan project managed the entire project from plans to building control, and organising all the trades. It was seemless. I had regular visits from the supervisor to check progress on the build, which was swift and in line with the timelines they estimated from the start. If there were ever any issues or snags these were dealt with very quickly and without quibble.

The workmen themselves were tidy, respectful and took pride in their work.

We have done major renovations before and I can confidently say that Loftplan have been the best building firm we have worked with and I highly recommend them.
